1. Are all of these promotions customizable?  Yes

2. Does Powerful Promotions handle all of the direct mail services or are they sent out to other direct mail vendors?  Yes, Powerful Promotions handles all of the direct mail services.  Powerful Promotions is half owner a direct mail business called Accurate Direct Mail.  This business is located next door to Powerful Promotions.

3. How does Powerful Promotions select the houses that we will be mailing these promotional pieces to?  Powerful Promotions does not select the households to mail to.  The club selects the houses to mail to with a carrier route map that is provided to each club.  This allows you to select only the neighborhoods that you want to mail to.  See direct mail services on the home page.

4. Can Powerful Promotions guarantee my club when our mailing will hit the mailboxes?  No.  Almost all of the clubs that we work with choose to mail their jobs using standard presort mail.  Standard presort mail is bulk mail.  The United States Postal Service will not guarantee timely delivery of standard presort mail.  The reason clubs use this mail classification is cost.  Standard presort mail is approximately 15 to 17 cents, as opposed to 42 cents for first class mail.

5. When can I expect my mail to hit after it has been mailed?  Generally clubs mailing standard presort mail, will hit in 6 to 12 days.  However, it has taken up to 28 days for mail to hit.  This is very atypical, but it can happen using bulk mail.

6. Can Powerful Promotions do anything to speed up the delivery time?  Yes. Powerful Promotions will ship your mail by truck directly to your area's USPS Sectional Center Facility.  This is where bulk mail is sorted and sent to the local post office for delivery.  This can save a considerable amount of time.

7. Do I have to pay all of the promotion costs up front? The answer to this question is yes and no.  If we have to rush a job to get it out ASAP, then all of the costs have to be paid up front before mailing.  However, lets say your job is going out in two mailings over a two-month period.  In this case, you would pay all of the costs except the postage.  Postage is paid two weeks before the mail date.  Therefore, some promotions will have payment options. 

8. What makes Powerful Promotions different from other health club promotional companies?  Quite a bit.  Powerful Promotions doesn’t just send out direct mail cards and hope you get a good response.  First, we discuss your club's objectives and offer specific promotions that have been tested successfully in our industry. 9. Does Powerful Promotion give out references of other clubs that have run the promotion that my club is considering?  Absolutely.  We can give you references of other clubs that have run almost all of our promotions.  If we can’t give you a reference, it is generally because you have purchased a new or specifically customized promotion for your club.
